|Skull of Corruption|
|Franchise||The Elder Scrolls|
|Debut||The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion|
The Skull of Corruption is a Daedric artifact of Vaermina. This horrifying weapon is a dream-dependent staff of different usage than its predecessor during the Oblivion Crisis.
Doing the beginning of your journey in Dawnstar, the town is being plagued by nightmares. Before you go see the Jarl of the Pale for work, speak to the priest of Mara; Erandur in the inn to begin the "Waking Nightmare" quest. The Nightcaller Temple is filled with Vaermina worshippers and Orc Invaders. As Erandur breaks the barrier and begins the ritual to send the Skull back, Vaermina demands the Dragonborn to kill him.
Depending on your choice, you could either murder Erandur or let him finish the ritual. If you let him finish, the Skull returns to Oblivion and he will become your follower, but you won't be able to get the Oblivion Walker achievement. You need to kill him to get this achievement.
In order to charge the Skull, you must collect the dreams. You can cast on a sleeping person. This weapon will not make any people you cast on become hostile. Soul Gems also charged the Skull.
This weapon was hold by Alisa the Daedric Knight. With this, it can make your opponent stunned for a short second.
